Little Mazda is now Denmark's cheapest electric car

Mazda joins the battle for electric car customers in Denmark with Denmark's cheapest electric car. Even the cheapest MX-30 gets adaptive cruise control and a head-up display.

Mazda is introducing a campaign discount of DKK 23,000 on all variants of the Mazda MX-30 electric car, which now costs from DKK 189,995.

The offer is valid until 30 June 2024. The Danish importer says that they already have cars in stock.

All equipment variants have adaptive cruise control, navigation, head-up display in the windscreen, heat pump, Connected Services, 18” aluminum wheels and extensive safety equipment.

This is stated by Mazda Denmark in a press release .

The built-in 3-phase charger makes it possible to charge the battery from 20-80 percent with alternating current of approx. 1 hour and 50 minutes.

It goes even faster with a fast charger, which with up to 50 kW can charge the battery in the MX-30 from 20-80 percent in 26 minutes.

The Mazda MX-30 is equipped with an electric motor with 145 hp, which is connected to a lithium-ion battery of 35.5 kWh. This gives a range of 200 km on mixed traffic and 265 km on urban traffic according to the WLTP norm.

The offer makes the small MX-30 Denmark's cheapest electric car. That is, while stocks last. Or at least until 30 June 2024.

It was not many months ago that Chinese MG could announce that it had reduced the price of the five-door hatchback MG4 below DKK 200,000. Exactly at DKK 199,990.

But now you have to see yourself beaten by a promotional offer from the Japanese side. Conversely, not all car brands believe that the cheap electric car will land right here and now. Read more about it here .
