Peugeot still sells 26-year-old cars

Production of the Peugeot 206 continued in Iran until February last year. Right now the car continues under a different name in Tunisia.

Why change something if it works?

For Peugeot, for example, the small 206, which came on the market way back in 1998, is still a success. Yes, it is actually even though the car disappeared from Europe in 2012.

Production continued to shorten in a large number of countries. For example, in Iran until February last year. And the same year the car came to Tunisia.

Here it is called Wally's ISI and looks a bit different. But the technique is exactly the same as the French came up with in 1998.

And it's actually nothing new either. For the Peugeot 206 briefly around as a sedan in, among other places, China right up to 2013.

In its most stripped-down form, the 'new' 206 leaves the factory with two airbags, electric mirrors, ABS brakes and air conditioning. That's it!

But it is actually not the only success that Peugeot is still riding on. The brand succeeded in selling the sedan model 405 under license to many countries.

Most have set the assembly lines again. But in Azerbaijan, the car that first appeared in 1987 – unbelievably continues. Read more about it here .
