Kriseramt Fisker has received 40,000 cancellations

Well over half of the pre-orders Fisker has received since November 2019 have been canceled again.

Kriseramte Fisker Inc. really hangs on the brakes.

According to several media – i.a. Business Insider – internal documents reveal that more than 40,000 drivers have slipped even before they got their cars.

It has cost 250 dollars, equivalent to 1,730 Danish kroner – in pre-order fee to sign up for a Fisker Ocean.

And a lot of people took advantage of that. Already in June 2022, according to the brand's own information, Fisker had received 'more than 50,000 pre-orders'.

But the majority of these customers have regretted it again. Earlier in March, it emerged that Fisker stopped the production that is hired in Austria, on break for 6 weeks.

It has since emerged that 'the major car manufacturer', which founder Henrik Fisker claims to have contact with, has dropped out again. Reuters believes it knows that it is Nissan.

This also means that the investment of up to DKK 1 billion, which an existing investor had offered Fisker, has fallen to the ground.

In addition, Fisker has up to 5,000 cars from production in 2023, which the brand has not yet managed to get rid of.

For the same reason, Fisker has drastically reduced the price of a whole range of versions of the Ocean model. Read more about it here .

Fisker himself has made it clear several times that the future looks difficult. Furthermore, the brand cannot guarantee that it will survive a bankruptcy. We have written about how Danish Fisker Ocean owners are put in that situation right here !

The extreme headwind that Fisker is currently facing has also hurt the company's listed stock.

In fact, it has hurt trading in the stock so much that it has only fallen and fallen… and fallen. Towards the end of March, Borsen in New York had enough and suspended trading. There is probably only an actual delisting left.
