It looks bleak for English Lunaz, which has stopped the production of electric cars. The people behind blame the UK government.
The English Lunaz Group has thrown in the towel and stopped the production of electric cars. Until now, they have dealt with the conversion of petrol and diesel cars.
But until recently there were plans for an in-house production of passenger cars. But now both one and the other plan have been put on ice.
That's what Electrive writes.
The Lunaz Group itself says that the reason for the shutdown must be found in the English government's unwillingness to do anything about the market and the regulations surrounding it.

There are indications, however, that Lunaz has not completely given up. In any case, a spokesperson from the company now confirms that they are trying to reconstruct themselves out of bankruptcy.
– All of the company's operations have stopped with a view to restarting under a new structure, which is necessary to meet the current and future demand for the company's personal and business escorts.
Lunaz was founded in 2018 and has, among other things, worked on conversions of very iconic petrol cars, including the Aston Martin DB6. In that car, for example, the interior is made of egg and nut shells.
Lunaz was backed by a number of wealthy investors, including the former footballer David Beckham. But that has not been enough to keep the business afloat.
