The EU decided back in February that a traffic ban, which can be obtained in Denmark, among other places, must apply throughout the EU.
If you are caught for speeding or otherwise lose your driving license in Denmark, you cannot leave the country to drive on other roads.
The European Parliament decided this at the beginning of February. Specifically, EU politicians say that a traffic ban must be enforced throughout the EU and not just in the individual member states.

In the new regulations, which the EU countries could agree on back in February, it is also stated that a speed limit of more than 50 km/h can cost the individual motorist the corre card.

Furthermore, the EU has decided that driving around without a valid driving license will henceforth be considered a 'serious offence'. And therefore punished more severely.
What a harsher punishment should then look like is still unclear. But it is clear that 372 MPs voted for the new law. While just 220 voted against. 43 votes were blank.
The rules, which are therefore based on, among other things, the Danish traffic rules, have not yet been finally voted through. According to the plan, this will only happen when the new EU Parliament convenes after the elections in June this year.
If the agreement is finally voted through, the individual member states basically have two years to introduce the rule into national legislation.
