Police chased illegal mopeds with three motorcycles

Three motorcycles and a patrol car took part in the hunt for two illegal mopeds on Monday afternoon. Subsequently, both mopeds were measured at more than the permitted 30 km/h.

Two illegal mopeds were measured on Monday afternoon to be able to go over 50 km/h. The police also put a lot of effort into stopping both mopeds.

This is written by Fyens Stiftstidende .

Specifically, the Funen Police used the time of three motorcycle officers and a patrol car to chase the illegal mopeds around Ringe in Midtfyn.

When the newspaper contacted the Funen Police for a comment on the chase, the police circle was not entirely clear as to why they had chased the two mopeds.

But the police circle explains that it has probably been a matter of a moped check, on which there is a lot of focus at the moment.

Last week, a 16-year-old boy failed when he tried to run away from the police.

Because there are officers involved in the case, it has now ended up with the so-called 'Independent Police Complaint Authority – DUP – which must investigate whether the police have done something wrong.
