Before 2026, Nissan will have launched 14 new petrol cars and 16 new electric cars. Before 2030, the brand must be able to build the cars 30 percent cheaper than today.
Nissan is busy. They will pour 14 new petrol cars onto the world market before 2026. In addition, 16 new electric cars must be added.
The brand's managing director Makoto Uchida told a press conference about Nissan's future plans this week.

Of the many cars, however, we shouldn't expect to see more than the electric cars here in Denmark. Towards 2030, the existing petrol cars will still be able to be bought in Europe, but then it will also be over.

Nissan already announced this last year. And now it is said that the brand expects that every fifth new car in 2027 will run on electricity. While 60 percent still have a combustion engine.
But the fact that petrol cars are disappearing from Europe – and thus Denmark – does not mean that Nissan is ready to say goodbye completely. Not even by the end of this decade.
Instead, the expectation is that the brand will have 'electrified' 60 percent of the model program by 2030. And that's not the only new thing from Nissan.
