Of 1,041 motorists who passed the police checkpoint, only one fell into the trap. This is now causing the police to praise motorists in a rare remark.
The police could neither take cars nor correcion cards from the motorists, when the South Zealand and Lolland-Falster Police escorted a photo van out on Hojrebyvej in western Lolland.
The road, which is an 18 kilometer long straight stretch with a maximum permitted speed of 80 km/h, otherwise often entices motorists to speed too fast. But not this time.
In fact, only one out of a total of 1,041 was caught for singing too loudly. And that surprises the head of the police circle's traffic department, Mikkel Kjærgaard.

– I am pleased that motorists have complied with the speed limit on the stretch where people live, and they should be praised for that, says the head of the traffic department.
From the police's side, it is really far between the praises for the Danish motorists, who, despite rules about crazy traffic, insanely high stalls and even prison terms, are still driving hard on the roads.

However, neither the police nor the drug dog that was assigned to the case found anything interesting in the car, which the police asked to be handed over as soon as the home care reported the find.
