Really threatening Kevin Magnussen but still fooled himself

Right now he is perhaps the biggest threat to Kevin Magnussen's future in Formula 1. But one person Oliver Bearman could not impress at first. Namely the motor expert for the choir test.

He impressed almost everyone when he took the place of an ailing Carlos Sainz in the Ferrari racer during the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix last weekend.

But one person, the just 18-year-old Briton Oliver Bearman, could not make an impression on. At least not with his skills behind the wheel.

This is written by The Sun.

Oliver Bearman made a mistake at his first choir rehearsal, which meant that the motor expert sent him up to a new one.

The young Ferrari junior allegedly botched a maneuver at a lighting control. And that cost him a new choir rehearsal.

It was the 52-year-old choir teacher David Currey who, in his time, helped Bearman get his choir card. And he was impressed by the young man, who at the time made a living by drone around in Formula 3.

– He contacted me on Instagram because I live in the same city as his family. I could see he shorted Formula 3 at that point.

– We took one choir lesson in his BMW, and I felt completely safe, even though I didn't have my pedals with me.

– He seemed very friendly and asked a lot of questions. He was down to earth and is a good boy, David Currey tells the newspaper.

The British must start taking choir lessons when they turn 16. And the young people can legally choir a car when they turn 17. So it's been a few years since Bearman got a choir card.

Fast forward to today, and it is rumored that Bearman is in the process of pushing out one of Haas' current roosters. Ferrari will reportedly pay good money to see the young Brit with a full-time seat in the sport.

And Haas is – apart from Sauber – the only team in the sport that Ferrari has on its customer list. Evil tongues believe that Kevin Magnussen is therefore out of the past at Haas after this season.
