Huge car property must have a new owner in Denmark

The tenants have been there for a long time and are stable, says estate agent Poul Eric Bech. But now Sonderborg's oldest garage needs a new owner.

The tenants are Circle K and Hyundai dealer of the year in 2022.

"Stable tenants," says estate agent Poul Eric Bech, who is mediating the sale of Sonderborg's oldest garage.

Now the 3,717 square meter property has been put up for sale for DKK 36 million. The two tenants have long leases and take care of the general interior maintenance.

This is stated by the estate agent in a press release .

Als Motor, as the car dealer at the address calls itself, was originally owned by Danfoss. But in 2006 the car man Hans-Jorgen Skovly Jorgensen bought the car dealership and the property.

– I started at the time by opening an Opel store in Haderslev, which was later sold to Danfoss, which owned Als Motor. In 2006 I bought it all back from Danfoss and have since owned the property at Norrekobbel 1.

But now a new owner must be found, asserts Skovly Jorgensen. And there is one definite reason for that.

– In 2022 I sold Als Motor to Karvil Biler, (but, ed.) as I am neither a real estate investor nor a real estate speculator, I have decided to sell the property.

The entire property has been put up for sale for DKK 36 million. But it is actually not the first time that Poul Eric Bech has brokered a sale that oozes cars.

In the past, the estate agent took care of passing on the environment in which a fired Renault dealer had been to new hands. Today, the place has very little to do with cars. Read more about it here .

If it is not exactly 36 million kroner that is lying at the bottom of the coffin, less can also do it. A new owner must also be found for the neighbour's property, which is Sonderborg's former fire station.

Here the price is 'only' 10 million kroner. According to the municipality, there was activity on the property right up until 1 October last year.
