Police are hunting 'special' drivers on the motorway this week

Nordsjælland's Police are sticking to the partial openness about the speed control in the circle. This week they are moving out onto the motorways, it says.

As the first police district in Denmark, Nordsjælland's Police began to publicly announce where the photo vans are located last year. That is, because they are there.

Every Sunday, the police district announces where it intends to place the automatic traffic controls. That is, the photo vans.

However, it has since emerged that the police do not tell about all locations. But it is a good part of them. For the police circle, it is about safety on the roads.

– In order to strengthen traffic safety in North Zealand, our traffic police tell us every Sunday where some of our ATK vehicles are located, says the district in a Facebook post .

However, it is far from all motorists who care equally about the police's efforts on Danish roads. Even if the police are not physically present at all.

Last month Funen Police could tell that someone had destroyed a stationary speed control – a so-called starling box – in Odense. But in Italy, a number of angry motorists are going even further.

Known as 'fleximan' after the Italian word for angle grinder, a number of masked men cut down fixed camera traps in the dead of night. Something they have been both criticized and praised for. Read more about it here .

This week, Nordsjælland Police's photo vans are present on the following roads, among other things:

• Lyngbyvej, Gentofte
• Helsingor motorway, Horsholm
• Helsingor motorway, Lyngby
• Helsingor motorway, Nærum
• Skodsborgvej, Sollerod
