Henrik Fisker hogs FDM after warning

Henrik Fisker is now criticizing FDM, which has advised the Danes not to buy Fisker Ocean. However, the director of the car brand is confusing something.

FDM is an interest organization, not a media.

Nevertheless, Henrik Fisker commits this confusion in a written reply to BT , after FDM has advised Danes against buying Fisker's cars.

Last weekend, FDM advised Danes against putting money into a cash purchase of Fisker Ocean, which is the brand's only model at the moment.

According to FDM, the Danes are wisest to lease a Fisker Ocean if it is the car you as a driver have fallen in love with.

A cash purchase is too risky due to the uncertain future of the brand. Recently, Fisker announced that they will fire 15 percent of all employees and find new capital.

But even that, Fisker cannot guarantee will succeed, which was mentioned in the same press release. On the other hand, Henrik Fisker does not refuse to criticize FDM himself.

– FDM is an old-fashioned conservative news media, which is unfortunately not updated. It is clear that they are influenced by sensational headlines, which is a shame, writes Fisker to BT

However, it is no secret that Fisker has difficulties. The owners think so too. Here at Boosted, we have told, among other things, about Jesper, whose Fisker Ocean suffers from several and quite frightening problems. Read more about it here .

Another concern is the fear that Fisker will go bankrupt – a fear that has intensified after Fisker Inc. presented an annual report that showed a deficit of 5.3 billion Danish kroner in 2023.

Fisker is trying to cover part of the deficit by negotiating with several new investors. Among other things, Reuters believes it knows that Nissan is interested in investing billions of kroner in Fisker.

Here at Boosted, as recently as this weekend we were able to report on how Fisker handles criticism with threats; "Can I pull your nails out?", a car dealer has been asked, among other things. Read more about it here .
