Missing Nissan found with special police gear after 32 years

If you can live with some pretty big dents in the roof, according to the American The Drive, it should be possible to get this Nissan 240SX to sing again.

It takes a good deal of will – and probably just as much imagination – to imagine a scenario in which this Nissan 240SX can be heard again.

But according to The Drive , the car looks like something that should be able to drive. Whether that is the case is immediately a more open question.

The story goes that this S13, which is Nissan's chassis code for the car, was reported stolen on July 4, 1992. Precisely on the Americans' celebration of Independence Day.

It was a Thursday in North Carolina and the rest of the world for that matter. But now the police in the neighboring state of Virginia are writing in a post on Facebook that the car has been found. That is, on the bottom of a sow.

Otherwise, the authorities do not say much about the car. However, they can state that the car was only two years old when it was reported stolen.

The police also say that the car was found in connection with a drill to which rescue divers had been dispatched. They used sonar equipment to locate the car, which none of the divers probably knew they were looking for.

Finally, the Virginia State Police informs that the original report of car theft from 1992 must now be followed up.
