Denmark's most famous confiscated car has been sold at auction

The Lamborghini from perhaps Denmark's most talked about case of crazy carousel has been sold at auction, almost three years after the previous owner was caught doing 228 km/h.

DKK 1,907,000.

This is what the new owner of Denmark's most talked about Lamborghini ever paid for the car. This is written by Vejle County's Folkeblad.

The auction of the car, which was definitively confiscated last year, took place at BCA Auto Auktion in Vejle and ended on Monday morning at 09.31.

It was the North Jutland Police that in 2021 impounded the car that driver Shaka Ameen was speeding along the Hirsthals motorway at at least 228 km/h.

Shaka Ameen himself had bought the car one day before the North Jutland police took it from him again. At a dealer in Germany, Ameen had paid 286,000 euros, equivalent to 2.1 million kroner.

In Vejle, the bidding round started somewhat lower. Namely at DKK 1.25 million. According to Ekstra Bladet, BCA Auto Auktion will not say who bought the much talked about Lamborghini.

Back at Shaka Ameen, he is now completely without a Lamborghini, a sky-high legal bill and 20 days' probation in Denmark. He is also not allowed to show here for the next 6 years.

Although the open Lamborghini is probably the most famous car from Danish cases of madness, it is far from the only one.
