The state confiscates Audi in particular – perhaps the first ever

At a speed of at least 205 km/h, a 27-year-old man met the police in his older brother's leased Audi RS 6. Now the Court in Næstved has confiscated the car.

We have to go all the way back to the first day of September in 2021. Here, a 27-year-old man in an Audi RS 6 met the police on the West Motorway outside Soro.

Unfortunately for the 27-year-old man, he was short at 205 km/h. More than enough for the South Zealand and Lolland-Falster Police to seize the leased car.

That's what Sjællandske writes.

However, it is only now that the case has been decided in the district court. The court in Næstved has decided, because it is a carousel of madness, that the state is the new owner of the powerful Audi.

In addition to the fact that the 27-year-old now owes his older brother an Audi RS 6, for which he must settle with the leasing company, the district court decided that the younger brother will be sentenced to 20 days' probation.

He is also not allowed to drive a car for the next 3.5 years. According to Sjællandske, however, it is not the crazy driver, but instead the elder brother, who has asked for time to reflect on the sentence.

This means that, in principle, the case hangs in limbo for the next 14 days. But if the brothers and sisters accept the sentence, it will probably be the first time that the Danish state has become the owner of an Audi RS 6.

A look at the Danish Audi importer's website reveals that an RS 6 is definitely not a car you get thrown in the neck.

The current model has up to 630 horsepower from a 4-liter V8 engine with twin turbos. This kind of thing costs from just under 2.1 million kroner after the tax has been paid.

On Sunday 25 February, the Copenhagen Police could also say that another Audi RS 6 was briefly in the 'trap'. On the social media "X", the police circle states that the car was measured at at least 114 km/h on Borups Allé, which is an urban zone, in Copenhagen.
