Danish car dealer fires all car brands

The role of authorized dealer is over. At least for the car dealer Aunsbjerg. In 2014, they said goodbye to Peugeot and are selling three more brands.

Before the end of 2025, the sale of new cars at the Danish car dealer chain Aunsbjerg will be completely over.

Until 2014, it was otherwise an authorized dealer for Peugeot, but now the brands Airways, Suzuki and Mazda have also been thrown at the door.

Alex Aunsbjerg, co-owner of Aunsbjerg, confirms this to Motor magazine. However, it is not completely over with the brands in question.

For the car dealer chain, Korer will continue as an 'authorised workshop'. However, Aunsbjerg is far from alone in putting the car importers out of business.

For example, an entire part of the country is now missing several car brands after one car dealer took them out. The importer confirmed this – albeit in slightly different terms – at the beginning of the year. Read more about it here !

In general, there has been a lot of upheaval in the Danish car industry recently. Alongside bankruptcies, car brands have both fired and have been fired by several dealers around Denmark.

And it is not certain that this development is over yet. After a 7-year absence, General Motors, for example, has returned to Europe with a markedly different sales model. Read more about it here .
