Tesla's factory outside Berlin has once again been embroiled in serious allegations – this time it concerns the waste water from the factory.
Tesla releases far more waste water than allowed. At least when you look at the limit values for, among other things, phosphorus and nitrogen.
This is the opinion of the supply company Strausberg-Erkner Water Association, which has supplied water to the site ever since the factory opened in March 2022.
This is written by the news agency dpa , which i.a. The Telegraph quotes.
In a document that dpa has seen, the utility company writes that the American car brand has 'constantly' exceeded the limit values for the water from the factory.

At the same time, the utility company writes that Tesla has ignored several warnings about exactly the wastewater excesses.
Now the Strausberg-Erkner Water Association wishes to address the issue of the wastewater from the Tesla factory in an extraordinary board meeting in March.
Among other things. because, the company writes, it entails additional costs of several million euros if the contaminated waste water has to be handled.
For its part, Tesla claims that it has not yet been informed of the extraordinary board fashion. Like the factory claims that the waste water they discharge comes from cooks and 'sanitary facilities'.
Disregarding the waste water in production, the water that comes from the factory on the outskirts of Berlin will be a municipal task. Or at least a municipal task, says Tesla.
