Stole cars worth DKK 4 million and called it 'boyish streaks'

Some teenagers managed to make off with nine premium cars from a Jaguar-Land Rover dealership.

We didn't do anything. At least nothing but pranks.

At least that's what one of the teenagers who, in a group of nine, broke into a Jaguar Land Rover dealer in the US state of Wisconsin on Sunday 18 February.

Here the teenagers, who were all dressed in black, managed to break into a coin box and steal the coins for 9 cars.

When some of the car dealer's employees arrived at the scene, they found a facade and other things on the grounds smashed by the teenagers, who had also razed the associated workshop.

The New York Post writes that.

The car thefts meant that the police had to go on a 65-kilometre chase for the cars. The chase only ended when one of the teenagers – a 17-year-old boy – went wrong in the Range Rover he had forked some of them.

When 17-year-old Calvin Valentine was arrested, he apologized saying it was all just a prank.

However, the police have not found all the cars yet. By the middle of last week, the police had located six out of the nine cars.

As for the 17-year-old boy, he is currently in jail on a $50,000 bond. According to the New York Post, police have charged him with robbery, although he claims he never stole a car.
