Aston Martin needs 400 new people – do you need to be trained?

The British brand itself says that it is strong demand for the DBX SUV and the new Vantage and DB12 models that are driving the growth.

Aston Martin is to expand. In fact, the brand, which is headquartered in the British town of Gaydon, is ready to open the payroll for 400 new heads.

They must all fill vacancies at the brand's two facilities. Main factory in Gaydon and St Athan in Wales.

The goal is a stronger group behind the development and production of new as well as existing cars in the model range.

The car brand says so in a press release .

– We are pleased to be able to increase our team of employees across both our facilities in Gaydon and St Athan, which also creates further employment opportunities in our local communities.

– The 400 positions support our production plans and the introduction of exciting new cars. It's a fantastic opportunity for new people to join in too and put their own stamp on our next chapter, says Aston Martin's head of HR Simon Smith.

Aston Martin is looking for a bit of everything. From painters to body technicians and electricians. And everything in between. The pay isn't bad either.

The salary increase in the new positions is between DKK 416,000 and DKK 461,000. On top of that comes paid holiday, overtime allowance and pension. However, there is also the possibility of an hourly paid position, says Aston Martin.

In comparison, a Danish mechanic earns an average of DKK 408,000 before tax per year, according to a calculation from Jobindex.

It is certainly not the first time that one of the 'old' British car brands is looking for people. Bentley did the same in 2021. Read more about it here .
