23 bad drivers short right into the arms of the police

It is not everyone who, despite a valid choir card, has the same skills behind the wheel. The North Jutland Police had to find out on Tuesday afternoon.

The skills behind the wheel are in bad shape. At least in central Aalborg, where a lot of road work is currently being carried out.

The drivers seem to have a lot of difficulty dealing with it. In any case, they repeatedly broke the traffic law while the police watched them on Tuesday afternoon.

23 times in the space of just one hour, motorists in one way or another broke the traffic law through the roadworks.

This is stated by the North Jutland Police in a press release .

In 18 of the cases, drivers got too far into a junction before they simply had to stop there. That is, after it had become clear for the opposite traffic.

– When you don't respect this rule, you block the choir from Prinsensgade, who are going out on Vesterbro, says Police Commissioner Torben Arendrup.

According to the police, this is a large number of cases in the space of an hour. And if law enforcement had had the opportunity, even more motorists would have been caught for violating the traffic law.

Torben Arendrup says that the road work in central Aalborg will continue until April. And that the police will keep an eye on motorists in the area in the future.
