Employees again win lawsuit over car brand's rules

At the turn of the year, Audi would take the company cars from some of its employees. They have now been refused that in Germany.

At the turn of the year, a number of Audi employees stood to lose their company cars. Cars that the brand no longer believes the employees need.

Specifically, Audi estimates that the salespeople from whom the company cars will be taken can handle much of their work digitally at the present time.

This is written by Automobilewoche .

And it hardly requires a physical company car. Conversely, the sellers believe that the company cars are an important part of their salary package.

At least something Audi cannot take away from its employees without the same people being compensated for it.

And a German court agrees with the German Audi salesmen. In fact, the employees have received the court's word for it several times. The question of the company cars has now ended up on the Audi board's table.

But it is far from the first time that some employees have resisted. Not even in the car industry. In fact, it has been seen several times recently.

On the other side of the Øresund, Tesla mechanics are still fighting to get wages and working conditions according to collective agreement. And in the US, car factories and unions fought last year for massive wage increases. Read more about it here .
