An undercarriage treatment has ended up costing the undercarriage center 50,000 kroner because an expert has found serious errors in the work.
Not all undercarriage treatments are to be trusted as a car owner. A Skoda Enyaq owner can probably sign this after being successful in the Appeals Board for cars.
The undercarriage of the Skoda is so badly treated that without remedying the problem there would be a risk of future repairs on the car, an expert concluded.
The whole trouble arose when, after the undercarriage treatment, the Skoda owner took the car for inspection by FDM.
That's what Motor magazine writes.
The interest organization concluded that the car's orange high-voltage cables and electric motors were oversprayed. And that it was against Skoda's recommendations. At a brand workshop, the message said that it would cost close to DKK 30,000 to correct the error.
A leveling of the car, which the undercarriage center had offered, would not be able to correct the fault, said the expert who looked at the car when the case ended up in the Appeals Board for Cars.
Subsequently, the Skoda owner has been right in his complaint. Which means that the undercarriage center will have to pay almost DKK 30,000 for replacing the power cables. Just as DKK 19,000 must be paid excl. VAT in appeal fee and DKK 3,200 excl. VAT for the expert's assessment.
