Car brand is looking for a 4th director after as many 'years'

Aston Martin's top – but aging – director is to be replaced. The replacement for 77-year-old Amedeo Felisa will be the fourth boss in four years.

At the company behind Aston Martin, Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings Plc, things are changing. And soon another top director is on his way out.

A replacement must be found for the 77-year-old managing director Amedeo Felisa. Aston Martin will thus have gone through four managing directors in just four years.

This is written by the financial media Bloomberg .

According to the media, Lawrence Stroll, who bought himself power at Aston Martin four years ago, has already been looking for Felisa's replacement.

A new managing director has not yet been officially found. Aston Martin has also refused to comment on the matter. But the fact that the car brand is again looking for a boss is no surprise.

Bloomberg analyst Michael Dean thinks so. Felisa, who actually retired from a position at Ferrari in 2016, was always meant to be a temporary release.

However, it is no secret that Aston Martin has needed money ever since Stroll joined in 2020.

This means, among other things, that Volvo's Chinese owner, Geely, has bought into the English brand. So have Saudi Arabia's public investment fund and electric car manufacturer Lucid Motors.
