Bilværksted pleads not guilty: Gets a huge fine anyway

An accident that left an apprentice under the age of 18 with a gash in the head is now costing a car workshop in Horsens a huge sum.

On Monday this week, a car workshop in Horsens was fined 54,600 kroner after an apprentice under the age of 18 was injured in a work accident.

The apprentice was hit in the head by a spring and received a gash on the forehead. This is stated by the South East Jutland Police on the social media "X" – the former Twitter.

The accident happened on 14 January 2022 at the car workshop. But ever since, the owner of the garage has pleaded not guilty in the case.

The police do not yet know how the owner relates to the outcome of the verdict. But in court, emphasis was placed on the apprentice's very young age. And that it was therefore the workshop's task to ensure safety.

The work accident and the question of fault are not the only car-related matters that have recently been resolved in the legal system.

It has a disagreement over 900 meters and the number of Underberg as well. Something that ended up falling to the police's 'advantage' and costing both car, choir card, fine and prison. Read more about it here .
