Danish car dealer earns over a million kroner a week

Things are going well. At least at BMW dealer Bayern Auto Group, which earned more than 1 million kroner per week last year. This is shown by the annual accounts.

The Danish BMW dealer Bayern AutoGroup has published its financial statements for 2024, which show a profit of 55 million kroner before tax.

This corresponds to an average weekly profit of more than one million kroner.

The result comes after an increase in total sales of eight percent over the year for the company, which sells BMW and Mini.

Soren Vinderslev, CEO of Bayern AutoGroup, which operates six stores in Denmark, comments on the results in a press release.

He points out that the year presented challenges for the industry in general.

Spends the money on significant investments in the business

– It's no secret that 2024 has presented a number of challenges in the industry.

– In that light, we are overall very satisfied with the strong result that Bayern AutoGroup can present.

"It shows that we have a healthy business overall," says Soren Vinderslev. He elaborates on the sales development and general operations:

– We are happy and proud that in such a turbulent year we have managed to increase our total sales by eight percent.

– It is great to see that our product portfolio and the services we offer are in demand by customers.

"In general, we have exceeded our expectations on all parameters and experienced growth across the aftermarket, sales of spare parts and workshops," he says.

In addition to more training for employees at the BMW dealership, an upgrade of the chain's car dealerships has been put in place. This will, among other things, strengthen the digital aspect of the business.

Regarding this development, Soren Vinderslev says that it involves a large investment, but that the money reflects the confidence the Danish importer has in BMW's future.

– The upgrade of the car dealerships is a major investment on the part of Bayern AutoGroup, and it is naturally an expression of the great confidence we have in the product portfolio that is coming from BMW.

– So we have our optimism intact when we look into the future.

He also looks positively at the 2025 that is already underway.

– We have made a very good start in 2025, both in terms of sales of new and used cars. So we expect that we will perform at a high level again this year and that we can reap the rewards of our ambitious investments.
