– It is permitted to run against a red light, if it is done to make room for an emergency convoy. However, you must first make sure that it does not pose a danger to others. If the police are present, you must always follow the police's instructions.
In general, however, the police encourage you to pull in to the right if you are driving in moving traffic and an emergency vehicle wants to move forward.
However, East Jutland's fire brigade has been successful in teaching drivers a completely different behavior when help comes.
