Absurd error forces Tesla to recall over 2 million cars

The Cybertruck is not the only Tesla affected. In fact, this applies to more than 2 million cars. However, this is the first time Cybertruck has been recalled.

Tesla has recalled almost every car the brand has ever built in the United States. This is more than two million cars.

The recall comes shortly after Tesla was forced to recall nearly every car the brand has ever built and sold in China.

So what's wrong this time in the US? Yes, Tesla has written the text under the warning lights in the cars' small print. Yes, you read that right. Too small. The text informing about the error is simply too small.

That's what Automotive News writes.

– Warning lights with a smaller font size on the font can make critical information in the instrument panel difficult to read.

– This increases the risk of a traffic accident, says the American traffic safety authorities.

The font, which is therefore too small, is used by Tesla on the warning lights that inform about brakes, gauges and the state of the ABS system.

The US traffic safety authorities say that Tesla uses a font size that is smaller than the 3.2 millimeters that is the minimum requirement for such in the US.

However, Tesla graciously escapes the recall. In fact, the brand believes it has already solved the problem with a software update that was under development in January.

However, Tesla is far from the only car brand that has to recall a hideously large amount of cars. Last year, another car brand feared lobbing tor for parts in connection with a recall. Read more about it here .
