Jeremy Clarkson might not be fired after all

Jeremy Clarkson is back on British television. The former Top Gear host is ready with the questions in another round of ‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’.

Jeremy Clarkson may not be quite as fired from the British TV channel ITV as a statement from the TV station said last March.

On March 2, 2023, Carolyn McCall, head of ITV, told trade media outlet Variety that after the last season it was “no longer contractually bound” and that it had no plans for more TV with Jeremy Clarkson.

But already the next day, the protagonist himself wrote in a post on “X – the former Twitter – that people could take it easy. He had neither separated from his girlfriend, Lisa Hogan, nor been fired from ‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’ on ITV.

And now ITV also broadcasts the pre-recorded season of the programme, which as a format is also extremely popular here at home.

Neither ITV nor Clarkson have yet confirmed that there is more ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ on the road. On the other hand, Clarkson fans can rejoice that there is another season of the Amazon Prime series ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ on the way.

Clarkson is, however, immediately done with one thing. And these are car programs. He himself says that he has become “too fat, too old and in too bad shape for that”. Read more about it here .
