Tesla director gets paid far too much, says judge now

According to a court in the state of Delaware, Elon Musk is not worth his salary. In any case, he gets far too much of it, says a judge now.

Elon Musk is not only the world's richest man, he also gets paid way too much. A judge in the US state of Delaware decided this on Tuesday this week.

The decision comes after a lawsuit from a Tesla shareholder. Overall, Elon Musk also gets a lot of money from sitting at the end of the table at Tesla.

As much as 56 billion dollars, or the equivalent of 384 billion kroner, he is paid with. However, the astronomical salary has already been approved by Tesla. It happened in 2018.

Reuters writes that.

But now Tesla must enter into dialogue again to find a solution to Judge Kathaleen McCormick's order.

Greg Varallo, who represents a number of Tesla shareholders, says the ruling now benefits Tesla investors.

– We are enormously grateful for the court's thorough and extraordinarily well-argued decision to overrule the board of directors in Tesla's absurdly large salary package for Musk, says Varallo.

Conversely, Elon Musk has already longed for the state of Delaware on his own social media "X" – the former Twitter.

Musk believes that you should never register your company in the state. Whether he will then go down in lon, time will tell.
