Dane has bought rare Koenigsegg for 12 million DKK.

It was supposed to have three cylinders, but is now only available with 8. 300 cars will be made, and now one of the 12 million kroner Koenigsegg Gemera is coming to Langeland.

Danish billionaire Jorgen Hansen paid 20 million for a manor house on Langeland in 2020. Now he pays almost the same for a car.

This is what the Funen County Newspaper writes.

Of course, it's not just any car that the Danish billionaire is throwing some of his fortune at. All that's needed is to build 300 copies of the Koenigsegg Gemera.

Customers were supposed to have the choice between the world's most potent 3-cylinder engine and an 8-cylinder thing. But only the latter ended up coming to fruition.

In return, all the cars will have 2,300 horsepower and a plug-in hybrid system, according to the factory in Ängelholm.

It's only been four days since Koenigsegg announced that production of the crazy car with the equally crazy engine has begun.

It is unknown when a Gemera will land on Langeland. However, it is unlikely to be equipped with license plates. Instead, the people behind Herregården hope that the car can act as an eye-catcher and attract people to the island.

Exactly where in Koenigsegg's order book the upcoming Danish car stands is another good question. But not everyone is equally excited about the prospect of a Gemera.

There should have been at least one 3-cylinder Gemera in Sweden. But the future owner feels cheated. He can't even get the car he ordered.

Instead, the dealer has told him that he can pay a total of 32 million Danish kroner for a car with the same V8 engine that will come to Langeland.

Today, it all boils down to a question of compensation with interest. In fact, the Swedish rich man will receive at least as much in compensation as he originally should have paid for the car with the 'scrapped' engine. Read more about it here .

Now, over the next 3 years, 300 cars will be built. Whether more than one Gemera will come to Denmark is difficult to say. But it is not impossible.
