The world's largest car brand is now issuing a warning to 50,000 car owners. Car airbags can explode.
Toyota is now urging 50,000 car owners to leave the car. The cause must be found in defective airbags. Toyota has concluded that there may be a fault with the many airbags.
Errors that can cause them to explode. This is written by the Reuters news agency.
According to Toyota, the fault may be on the Corolla, RAV4 and Corolla Matrix models, the latter specially manufactured for the American market, which was built more than 20 years ago.
The Corollas, which will probably now have new airbags, were produced between 2003 and 2004. But the RAV4 models were built between 2004 and 2005.

This is not the first time that Toyota has recalled the Corolla/Corolla Matrix. Back in 2009, Toyota's then managing director broke down on live TV when it emerged that a series of floor mats had caused fatal accidents in Toyota models.
Something that led to Toyota recalling 3.8 million cars worldwide. Since then, the clip with the crying car director went viral.
