Verstappen on the way out? Gets 9 billion to change teams

Right now, rumors are swirling that Aston Martin has offered the four-time world champion a whopping 9 billion kroner to replace Red Bull.

Verstappen and Aston Martin have been linked in a possible move that could send shockwaves through Formula 1. The Dutch driver, currently at Red Bull, is rumored to be on his way to Aston Martin in a deal reportedly worth a whopping 9 billion kroner.

The move, if it happens, would be one of the biggest deals in motorsport history. It would significantly change the balance of power in Formula 1, where Verstappen and Red Bull have dominated in recent seasons.

Aston Martin has invested heavily in recent years to improve their position in Formula 1. With significant financial support and a number of strategic investments in both personnel and facilities, the team has become a serious competitor.

According to the Daily Mail, Aston Martin is now trying to lure Verstappen with a lucrative deal. The outlet claims that Aston Martin has already begun talks with potential sponsors to finance the deal.

Verstappen has a contract with Red Bull that runs until 2028. His current salary is around 430 million kroner per year. A move to Aston Martin would require a significant sum to buy him out of the contract.

Rumors suggest that Verstappen's contract with Aston Martin will not only include a hefty salary, but also an ownership stake in the team.

However, Aston Martin has denied the rumors of a possible switch. An Aston Martin Aramco spokesperson said on Thursday: "There is no truth to these allegations."

In 2024, Aston Martin signed Formula 1's most legendary designer, Adrian Newey. Newey has a long and successful history in Formula 1 and has designed a number of winning cars.

A move for Verstappen to Aston Martin would be a significant event for Formula 1. Verstappen has already established himself as one of the sport's biggest stars and a central figure in Red Bull's success.
