The popular Skoda Enyaq is getting both a facelift and a price cut from the importer, so it now costs under 300,000 kroner in Denmark.
The Skoda Enyaq, one of the most popular electric cars in Denmark, is now being launched in a new version with a starting price of under 300,000 kroner. The price reduction is part of a larger update that also includes design changes and improved technology.
The new Enyaq 60 can be purchased for DKK 299,995 and has a range of up to 430 kilometers (WLTP). The 63 kWh battery can be fast-charged in 24 minutes (10-80%) at a charging station with up to 165 kW DC.
– Skoda has a tailwind in Denmark, and with both the new Elroq and now also a new Enyaq, we can offer the Danes an even stronger model program this year, says Thomas Bruun, director of Škoda Denmark, in a press release .
One of the most notable changes is the introduction of the "Tech-Deck Face", a modern interpretation of Skoda's traditional radiator grille. The new front is flatter and wider, and the ribs are replaced by a dark surface that hides the car's sensors.
The Skoda logo has also been replaced by letters on the front of the car.
Standard equipment in the new Enyaq 60 includes Travel Assist with adaptive cruise control, Side Assist, electric tailgate, 3-zone climate control, heated steering wheel, keyless operation, wireless phone charging and towbar preparation.
Enyaq is also available in the 85 and 85x versions, which continue with the same engine as before. Prices for these models start at DKK 349,995 and DKK 369,995 respectively.
The Enyaq 85x has an electric motor on both the front and rear axles, providing all-wheel drive and a towing capacity of 1,200 kg. The range of the Enyaq 85 is up to 575 km (WLTP), while the Enyaq 85x has a range of up to 539 km (WLTP).
For those who want a sportier look, Enyaq is also offered in Sportline versions with prices starting at DKK 339,995. The Sportline models feature, among other things, sports front seats, 20" alloy wheels and black details on the roof rails, front spoiler and side mirrors.
The new Enyaq is expected to be available at Danish dealers in early April. A new Enyaq RS will be launched later in the year.
