Had access to Schumacher – now she has been removed

Almost out of the blue, a German reality program has changed its plans. It is being done for the sake of the Schumacher family, it says.

She should actually have participated in the German version of the reality program 'I'm a celebrity – get me away from here'.

But for Cora Schumacher, that never happened. The people behind the program have chosen to pillory her.

This is written by the German media Bild .

The reason for Cora Schumacher's exit comes from fear. The producer of the reality show, RTL, was nervous that the 47-year-old woman would speak a little too openly about her former brother-in-law, the 7-time world champion Michael Schumacher.

Cora Schumacher was married to Michael Schumacher's younger brother Ralf Schumacher until 2015. As one of the few in the world, she therefore knows about Michael Schumacher's condition, after the racing driver's terrible skiing accident in France in December 2013.

For the Schumacher family, it has since been important to protect Michael Schumacher's condition. Something that, ever since the accident more than 10 years ago, they have actually succeeded in keeping secret.

Despite her surname, Cora Schumacher is no longer more than part of the family. And the TV team, possibly fearing a trip to court, did not dare to trust her judgement.
