XPENG gets top marks in sustainability: Saves 1.5 million tonnes of CO2

XPENG once again receives MSCI's highest rating for its work with sustainable restructuring and responsible management.

XPENG has once again achieved MSCI's top ESG rating, "AAA," for the year 2024.

This assessment is given to companies that are at the forefront of environmental, social and management initiatives. XPENG's focus on green technology and sustainable development are central elements in the high assessment, which places the company among the most sustainable actors in its industry.

MSCI's ESG rating is a global standard for sustainability and is used as a guide by investors who wish to prioritize environmentally responsible companies.

The AAA rating is only given to companies that demonstrate leadership in climate footprint reduction, responsible business operations and social initiatives.

XPENG highlights in its latest ESG report for 2023 that its electric cars have contributed to reducing CO2 emissions by more than 1.5 million tonnes compared to traditional fossil cars.

The report also shows the company's focus on product quality, ethical business practices and customer satisfaction.

Since its inception, XPENG has prioritized a long-term approach to sustainable mobility. Their strategy combines technological solutions with responsible business operations, which has made it possible to create value both for the environment and for society.

What does a AAA rating mean? MSCI's assessment analyzes how companies deal with sustainability challenges. An AAA rating means that XPENG is at the forefront of its industry and effectively manages risks associated with the environment, social conditions and management.

These ratings help investors identify companies that are working purposefully to reduce their footprint while maintaining responsible standards.

XPENG remains dedicated to promoting a greener future through an integrated ESG strategy and a strong focus on green mobility.
