Tesla has been promising a new Roadster for years. Nothing just happened. And now David Andreyev has grown tired of waiting.
An American YouTuber, David Andreyev, has carried out an extensive conversion of a Tesla Model 3.
Instead of waiting for Elon Musk's long-promised new Roadster, Andreyev took matters into his own hands and created his own version of the sports car.
The starting point for the project is a damaged Tesla Model 3 Performance from 2018. Over two years, Andreyev transformed the car into a modern interpretation of a Tesla Roadster.
The entire process is documented in a series of videos on his YouTube channel, Cyber Hooligan.
The renovation is extensive. Blue. the car has been converted into a coupe with a much lower roofline than a Model 3.

The converted Tesla Roadster is 2.08 meters wide and has an eye-catching Candy Apple Red paint job.
With an output of more than 500 horsepower and a torque of 660 Nm, the car delivers sports car performance thanks to the electric powertrain from Model 3 Performance. Nothing came of it, even though the Model 3 had to retire in 2018.
Andreyev's conversion project has already attracted attention, and he has shared reactions from his first test lap with the finished car.
He already has plans for a new project where a Tesla Model S Plaid will undergo a similar transformation. Put another way – more than 1,000 horsepower is needed.
Home-made projects as complete as the one David Andreyev has cobbled together are few and far between. So of the same caliber. Still, they pop up from time to time.
And we don't actually need to go all the way to the US to find these kinds of projects. Choiring over the Øresund Bridge is actually enough. In Sweden, it abounds with crazy projects on four wheels. Read much more about it here.
