Kendis forgot her Lamborghini – only found after 20 years

The owner of the workshop had to do it, because it dawned on rock star Carlos Cavazo that he had left his Lamborghini Countach LP 5000 S there 20 years ago.

A 1982 Lamborghini Countach LP 5000 S, owned by renowned guitarist Carlos Cavazo of the band Quiet Riot, has been found in a garage in Los Angeles after being forgotten for over 20 years.

The car was originally purchased by Cavazo in 1982, shortly after his breakthrough with Quiet Riot and the hit song "Metal Health".

– I happened to pass by there and saw this Lamborghini. I had looked at the Ferrari before, but after a few days I went in and bought it," the guitarist stated in an interview for the YouTube channel

This Lamborghini is unique as it was the first example of the model to be produced. It was shown at various exhibitions, including the 1982 Geneva Motor Show.

Cavazo started a family a few years later and the car was left at a garage in Los Angeles around 2001. The owner of the garage passed away after 20 years and the Lamborghini was found covered in dust among his belongings.

Despite the car's condition and the need for several repairs after the very long storage, the car was sold at auction for DKK 4.5 million shortly after being 'found'.

Rock star's Lamborghini is not the only Countach that has made the millions roll into the account in recent years.

The same has happened to several of the Countach models used in the 2013 remake of the Hollywood hit 'Wolf of Wall Street'. Yes, even the one that was almost smashed beyond recognition. Read more about it here .
