Four people are dead after the Tesla they were in crashed into a road sign in France. Among the dead are a mere 16-year-old boy and two men aged 21 and 27.

The three had gone out together with the Tesla's 65-year-old owner to have a test drive in the car after work. Why the accident happened is still unclear. But at At 10.30 p.m., a passer-by sounded the alarm because of the flames.

When the fire brigade arrived at the scene of the accident, which is not far from the restaurant in which the men left the Tesla, it was clear that no lives could be saved.

The owner of the restaurant says that he began to worry when his employees did not return from the choir tour. At some point he therefore began to look for them himself.

When he was greeted by a car cow, he had a bad idea. But by then it was already too late to do anything for the four in the car.

– Jérémie, the chef, had been here for two years; it was even predetermined that he would take over the restaurant at the end of the year.

– A young pastry chef had just been hired three weeks ago and was a very professional person. I did not know that the young 16-year-old apprentice had gone with them, says Daniel Mautret.
