22-year-old loses Mercedes to DKK 1.3 million after street race last night

On the night of Thursday, a 22-year-old man had to hand over the parts for a Mercedes-AMG C63 S, which in Denmark has a new price of over DKK 1.3 million, to the police.

A 22-year-old man is today without the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, which he drove around as recently as Friday evening.

Copenhagen Police believe that the 22-year-old briefly illegally street raced in Inner Copenhagen in the car. According to warden Stefan Ladeby, the car reached 128 km/h in a 50 zone.

This is written by Ekstra Bladet .

– He is being charged for this 'crazy crossing', as we have a measurement that shows that he has a speed of no less than 128 kilometers per hour in a 50 kilometer zone.

– This means seizure with a view to confiscation of this Mercedes, says the warden to the media.

On Danish license plates, a Mercedes C63 S, of the kind Copenhagen's police took last night, has a new price of around DKK 1.3 million. But the Mercedes is so far from being the first really expensive car that law enforcement has taken from motorists.

It cost a Norwegian man millions of Danish kroner when he was caught speeding on the Hirtshals motorway in 2021. Normanden later believed that Denmark 'hates people in expensive cars and that the state had stolen the car'.

However, he ended up losing the case all the way to and in the Supreme Court. Since then, the expensive Lamborghini that was bought at auction by a very young Dane has ended up with a for sale sign in Germany. In fact, from where the car was picked up in its day.
