63-year-old fined 1,000 kroner for the world's smallest mistake

It is illegal. And on Friday morning, a 63-year-old man came to pay for it, as he had not got a light on the car.

On Friday morning, Bornholm's Police issued a bond of 1,000 kroner to a 63-year-old man who had no control over his lamp lining.

By the way, he was far from the only one that the law enforcement on the island had a hold of. On Thursday, a 43-year-old man had to eat a clip in the choir card and a fine of 2,000 kroner.

However, it was not his own fault that brought about the penalty. Instead, it was Sonnike, who is a minor, who hadn't had the seatbelt clicked on.

Back to the 63-year-old on Friday morning, it might seem like the world's smallest mistake. But drivers who forget their lights are actually a big problem.

The lack of light is not just a danger to them themselves. It is also a big nuisance for everyone else in traffic.

A random trip out on the roads reveals that far too many people are still driving around with their taillights off. In fact, it is so wrong that we have given column space to an important point from our colleagues at Bil Magasinet. Read more about it here!
