46-year-old goes to jail for calling Suzuki a Toyota

A lot was wrong when a 46-year-old from Bornholm sat on the dock at the Court in Ronne. Overall, it was 20 days of unconditional imprisonment.

For a 46-year-old from Bornholm, the urge to get behind the wheel and out on the roads was so great that he turned to it.

In the period from June 8, 2023 to August 17, the police on the island believe that the 46-year-old man used the number plates from a Toyota Carina on a Suzuki Swift.

This is written by TV2 Bornholm .

The Court on Bornholm chose to believe that interpretation. Just as you find it proven that the 46-year-old drives around without a driver's license and insurance in a car that is not registered in Denmark at all.

Unfortunately, it is not so rare that motorists, who are not allowed to sit behind the wheel at all, do all kinds of tricks to get out on the roads anyway.

Age doesn't seem to matter either. Recently, an 11-year-old boy was stopped by the police when he – that is, the boy – pulled a larger caravan behind a BMW X5.

– Nothing could have prepared us for the fact that we would find a schoolboy behind the wheel. But in the car we also found a number of tools that are typically used in car thefts, according to the law enforcement agency.

Here, too, both fake and stolen number plates were part of the case. For the same reason, especially owners of trailers and caravans were encouraged to invest in locks and surveillance equipment. Read more about the matter here .
