3 arrested for Tesla terror – face 20 years in prison

Donald Trump has already called them terrorists, and Elon Musk says it's insane. Now three people face 20 years in prison for setting fire to Teslas in the US.

Tesla has been the target of several arson attacks, and three people have now been arrested in the United States on suspicion of terrorism.

The cases involve both attacks with Molotov cocktails and arson aimed at a Tesla-owned charging station.

The suspects, two men and a woman, face prison sentences of up to 20 years. The US writes Today .

The US Department of Justice has issued a press release stating that a man has been arrested in Oregon for throwing eight Molotov cocktails at Tesla cars.

He was also armed. A woman has been arrested in Colorado for attempting to set fire to Tesla cars.

The third arrest is a man suspected of setting fire to a Tesla charging station in South Carolina. The man also set himself on fire. Admittedly, by accident. Read more about it here .

The attacks are classified as domestic terrorism, which only makes the penalties even higher. In this regard, Justice Minister Pam Bondi has warned everyone else not to do like the three who have now been arrested.

– Let this be a warning: If you join the wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla property, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.

The arson attacks on Tesla cars are believed to be a reaction to Elon Musk's cuts to a department of the US government.

The Ministry of Justice has now taken steps to intensify efforts against the escalated violence.

– There must be an end to committing crimes without consequences, says Pam Bondi.

It was US President Donald Trump who said just a few days ago that he would prosecute the Tesla attackers as domestic terrorists. The penalty in such cases goes all the way up to the death penalty.
